United States Job Quits

The number of job quits in the United States was little changed at 4.2 million from a month earlier in August of 2022. Quits increased in accommodation and food services (+119,000) but decreased in professional and business services (-94,000)). The so-called quits rate, which measures voluntary job leavers as a share of total employment, was unchanged at 2.7%. source: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics
